Nature of the Service

Caroline County Released Inmates is an independent reference with no government ties. It stores no official custody or court files. It cannot confirm whether someone is held, order or carry out a release, post bond, or submit a document to a public office.

The site identifies county jail and Maryland records resources and may connect visitors to research tools run by other companies. Those outside services remain separate from this site.

Acceptable Use Rules

Use must remain lawful, respectful, and compatible with normal site operation. You agree that you will not:

• Use the service in a way that violates any law
• Use information to stalk, threaten, or harass another person
• Rely on content for hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions
• Try to gain access to systems or data without authorization
• Operate automated bots, crawlers, or scrapers against the site
• Interfere with site availability or another visitor's use

No Consumer Reports

Caroline County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It provides no background checks, credit reports, consumer reports, or screening services, and neither do its advertising partners through this site. You agree not to use any information for an FCRA-covered decision, including:

• Whether to hire, retain, promote, or dismiss a worker
• Whether to approve a tenant or other housing applicant
• Creditworthiness, lending terms, or insurance pricing
• Licensing, permits, or eligibility for a government benefit
• Any other purpose governed by the FCRA

Links may lead to release-record contacts, Sheriff or corrections pages, public portals, legal-help services, and independent search providers. A link is not an endorsement. We do not control a destination's content, privacy practices, data handling, or availability. Review that service's own terms before using it.

Service Provided As Is

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranty about:

• The accuracy, completeness, or current state of information
• Continuous and uninterrupted access
• The absence of errors, defects, or security flaws
• The scope or quality of results from a partner tool

Custody status and public records can change at any time. Nothing published here is an official statement from Caroline County, a Sheriff's Office, a jail, or another government agency.

Limits of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Caroline County Released Inmates and its operators will not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other damages arising from access to, inability to access, or use of the site or linked services.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the site and its operators harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees caused by your use of the service or your violation of these terms.

Ownership of Site Materials

Text, graphics, logos, and code on the site belong to Caroline County Released Inmates or the applicable content partner. You may not copy, distribute, republish, or modify protected material without prior written permission.

Maryland law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction within Maryland.

If One Term Is Invalid

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected provision will be limited or adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
